Thermage of face and body
Thermage procedure is a genuine non-invasive skin tightening treatment, based on natural stimulation of existing reserve cells (fibroblasts).
Thermage uses radiofrequency waves to warm up the deeper skin layers and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin by the patient’s own fibroblasts. Such safe stimulation of collagen helps smooth and tighten the skin for a naturally rejuvenated appearance, in a process without risks, scars, or prejudice to sun exposure and social life. Thermage also significantly improves the unattractive aspect of cellulitic skin (cellulitis).
Tightening of face or body skin is effective over an extended period (18 to 36 months), which makes it possible to defer rejuvenating surgery of the face (cervico-facial facelift) or the body. In case of an important skin surplus or with a patient over 65, the benefits of Thermage will be weighed against surgery.
